Psychological Health and Safety Foundation

This 90 minute course will provide you foundational knowledge regarding the science of psychological safety in the workplace. In this easy-to-follow lecture you will explore of the role that leaders have in establishing and maintaining a psychologically safe workplace. Topics will include an introduction to the National Standard and its key components, what defines psychological safety and how to identify hazards, the key stages to establish a psychologically safe workplace, and finally the connection between psychological safety and team effectiveness. The goal is help you, as a leader, identify psychological hazards in the workplace provide a toolbox of strategies to be able to remove these hazards.
